Beautiful light, a stunning couple, and an adventurous location...3 of my favorite things in any shoot! Bonnie & Alex were open to all ideas for their engagement session. We initially wanted the modern lines and architecture at Salk Institute but realized a more dog friendly location would be better. We decided to venture around Julian where Alex had proposed and could not be happier with how the day turned out! With his love of camping and nature, I knew I wanted wide open spaces and tall trees surrounding them so what better location than Lake Cuyamaca! We climbed hills, trekked through bushes, and pulled over on the highway for an amazing day. I can't wait for their wedding in April!
