Back in 2008, I landed a spot in an internship program known as MAIP (Multicultural Advertising Internship Program) and was given the opportunity to spend a summer in NYC. I was hesitant to accept to say the least since I had never been away from home let alone lived by myself before. But with the encouragement (and threats) of family and friends, I made the move that would forever change the course of my life. It was that city, those friends, that really pushed me to pursue photography for more than just a hobby. They are some of the most inspirational, influential, determined, hard working, and adventurous lovers of life I have met and am happy to call them family. Six years later, here we are gathering to celebrate the union of our fellow interns....Congratulations Hiro & Peggy!!
